The City of Willis Wastewater Treatment Plant was selected as the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) wastewater treatment plant of the year in category 1. The WEAT award is presented to an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Texas that has consistently exhibited outstanding performance of daily activities beyond the normal call of duty. Congratulations to Gretchen Baldwin - Chief Operator of the wastewater treatment plant, and all of Public Works staff for all of the hard work.
